IMO, there is a fine line between rubbing it in and just being a significantly better team. I'd think 41-0 is probably over that line.
I mean when its 30-0 and the coach is still screaming to round third, go go go go, get down. Seems like even a jerk would realize that that is ridiculous.
Honestly for 8U players, we've discovered that the tee is the best teaching tool. Once I got my DD swinging with proper form her hits have been much more solid and she understands her swing now. Before, she was swinging with whatever was comfortable.

The advice I was given regarding pitching, if you dont know how to pitch - dont try to coach them to pitch. Get out the wallet and pay a professional. Pitching is technical and for maximum effectiveness takes a lot of coaching.
