There are several really good 12u TB teams around the Baton Rouge area if your willing to make the drive. I am currently looking for a 10u TB team around the tangipahoa parish area for my DD as well. What have you learned this season that might help the rest of us?
I learned that when DD is ready to overcome her fear of getting hit in the batter box, it will be on her time only. I also learned after coaching a young 10u rec league team this year, I am better off behind the fence in deep LF or RF instead of the bleachers.- Ktowncoach

Players leaving the field!!
Very interesting circumstances of events but I do know by Babe Ruth rules 7.08-that any runner is out when she leaves the baseline heading for her dugout or her position believing that there is no further play may be declared out if the umpire judges the act of the runner to be considered...- Ktowncoach

2nd and SS Starting Positions – Rec. League
I coach a 10u rec team with 5 kids moving up from 8u, 5 kids who have never played softball before and 2 that played in 10u last year.
