Showed DD some examples of bat being on same plane as shoulders that were listed by Mark H. . We went to the cages tonight with that in mind along with the hands being lower at address which Buttermaker suggest. She was way better in both tee work and front toss. I intentionally threw high...
I totally understand that there are exceptions and outliers swings out there but my daughter is hitting pop ups and dribblers using a downward path that is not on the same plane as her shoulders or the incoming pitch.
She does alot of high tee work because of this problem. But I never suggested the plane of the shoulders and bat should be the same because I didnt know. We will work on this and let you know how she is doing. Thanks for you help
My daughter has developed a habit of finishing low. The plane of her swing is really bad right now and its causing her to hit pop ups, weak line drives and choppers. I need advice on how to get her on plane. We have tried a lot of things but nothing is working . Thanks for any input.

She hasn't batted much live this year but in...

Its just part of the process , we don't overemphasize it...
I'd recommend some live pitching at decently high speed. Even if its overhand throws from you. When I did this, based on RHC's recommendation, I discovered that my DD's swing was way different and less efficient because she was out of her comfort zone. It help tremendously once she recognized on...
