One thing that I use to add to that drill is to stand behind the catcher then tell her set, pitch. I would then toss the ball from over her shoulder to random locations on the field trying to make it like a game situation when they have no idea where the ball will be going having to react to the location and the movement of the ball. Sometimes I would toss the ball up like the hitter popped the ball up.
