I find it funny that many pay $300 for a bat and don't blink an eye and not pay for lessons or how to use it correctly like any tool.

Definitely not guilty here. Most I ever paid for a bat was $50, and that was for a 2005 R/T.

Well, I bought a roll of adhesive tape and tonight I taped my index finger so it had a little flex; it worked great. I then taped a player's finger and it worked great also. I believe after using it like that awhile the player will get in the habit so the tape won't be necessary.

Now, if I could just find a way around that $120 dozen TCB balls. Walmart has something similar; baseball size but I believe it weighs about 2 lbs. and not that much cheaper. Come on, TCB, help me out with a deal.

What effect would the BatJack have if used on the bottom hand finger? What if it was used on both hands? I haven't tried one but I am curious if one couldn't get a really great primarily one-armed swing with it if it was on the bottom hand.

Many hitters that have The Bat Jack are doing what you are talking about. They use it during their one hand drills, using The Bat Jack with their bottom hand as well as their top hand.

They have also used two Bat Jacks at once (one for each hand). The Bat Jack on the bottom hand gives added security in the grip for those hitters that release their top hand after contact.

It does work for both.

Was going to order one but when checked out website I see they went up $5 since I looked at the other week. Should have ordered before I went on vacation. Now I will save my money.

We are sorry that you were not able to take advantage of the (limited time) $14.95 introductory price. The Bat Jack Grip Trainer's MSRP has always been $19.95.

Thank you very much for visiting our site and for your consideration of our product.

Jim just an update on the bat jack. We have played in 4 ASA Qualifiers since the kids started using them. 5 girls have them on the bats when they hit. It takes a few seconds to put some tape on the velcro. You can still move the bat jack around on the bat as the tape really doesn't serve any purpose but conforms to the rule. I put one out each game without the tape just as a test. Only one umpire asked about it and I told them it was covered under 3-1D. The bottom line the kids love it and they feel they hit the ball harder.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear that our product has had such an impact with your girls. We wish you continued success the rest of the summer!

Speaking of gadgets, what if some sort of finger brace or sleeve or athletic tape, even, was put on the index finger to restrict it from bending until a batter felt the benefit and formed the right habit? Wouldn't that be similar?

I was thinking with the BatJack on the bottom hand the batter could really swing fast without fear of the bat coming out of their hand. Some batters can't get rid of that concern.

The Bat Jack doesn't restrict the index finger from bending. It creates a natural angled grip in the correct gripping fingers. The biomechanicaly correct design allows for a comfortable adjustment and an instant improvement to the performance of the grip.

SB or Jim a few questions.

We had practice last evening heat index was 110, everyone was sweaty and a few were having trouble holding on to the bat.

Do you think the Bat Jack would help with this problem?

Have you had any kids that did not like it?

Is it sold on line only or at any retail stores?

Thanks!
