When does the pointing at the umpire cross the line? It is one thing to say something and keep moving.

Funny thing is the ball she was upset with in the prior game was clearly foul.

If it was a baseball game, she would have been ejected before she left the batter’s box. Bat flips are an automatic ejection in NCAA Baseball.

If she wanted to jaw, fine. The finger point should have been an automatic early shower. I’ll try to go back and watch the game tonight.

Funny if the ball she was still lamenting over was foul and they had it right.

Saying that, I will take a moment to present my issue with a challenge/instant replay system … use it or don’t use it at all. Adding arbitrary restrictions and what you can and cannot use it for puts the umpires in a worse position. We want to get it right, but introducing that and then handcuffing us makes us look like the backend of a boar.

You have a problem with your reply button or do you just like arguing passive aggressively? I will admit that I am not on a bunch of college baseball boards so I will assume the SEC boxer wearing guy would know better than I.

No comment on her twitter response? I guess you think she is lying too?

Hey now.

Forgive him he wasn't loved as a child. She's covering her @ss as she said nice call, as in nice call @sshole. If she wanted to talk to him she had plenty of time before the game.

I wonder of his sooner jammies are comfortable.

And if it wasn't for softball OU wouldn't be relevant in College sports anymore

I honestly don't really care about OU sports but I do know a decent amount about them since the stadium is 500 yards from my office. We've had this discussion before...My Celtics suck as* right now though..

I do appreciate the non-reply answer though..two thumbs up.

She was upset at a previous pitch that was called a foul ball of her bat. She did not agree. She then swung and hit a pop foul out. While she was going back to the dugout, she mouthed off to the umpire and he tossed from the game immediately.

Yup ... and after watching that ... NO. She was not pointing at the base umpire and complimenting him. She did the exact same thing on this play. She spent most of the at-bat pouting and stalking around when she stepped out of the box. As she was walking away, she was giving the umpire the stink-eye, running her mouth, and pointed at the umpire. Keep trying to save face on social media, kid.

She fouls off another pitch, so at best she would have had a 2-2 count (still two strikes anyway). The umpire had nothing to do with her popping the ball up to the catcher.

Did the plate umpire miss the foul ball? Yes, he did. The announcers had it spot on. I had a foul ball on the "live" play, too. Why? The ball ticked off of something hard and the sound sold it. You can hear it on the live play. The replay shows it was wrong. That does not excuse her attitude problem (yes, it is an attitude problem).

Yeah it doesn't look like pleasantries she was exchanging..that is for sure. Nobody lip reads here??

Still don't think it is a huge deal though. She got tossed, as she should if she was berating him. End of story.

There are lots of reasons that we know of to prove @pattar wasn't loved as a child, but this ain't one of them. ;) Most of them involve flying fluid containers.

(We love you now @pattar!)
