Jdint, or maybe just invest in some decent balls yourself and bring them with you. Not many facilities
are going to pop for new, high quality balls every couple weeks. They are trying to make money too.
So they are looking cheap and something that will take the abuse or use them til they fall apart...haha.
And having a BP bat is not a new idea...its been bantered about for a number of years now. I know I
tell everybody its a good idea when the topic comes up.
That's funny, bought a 33" Rocketech and a 33" Nanotek from PIAS. At that same time I bought one Lizard skin and a base clean out tool, I paid exactly $3.00 more for the grip & tool than I did for both bats!
I would rather hit good ones too as they last longer at least compared to the the crappy synthetic ones. I only buy leather, not necessarily the top of the line ones, but 55 sounds about right.Never said low quality is bad...but dog balls hit 5000 times or balls made a bit diff to last longer arent great.
I could care less if someone buys a 35 dollar a dozen synthetic or 55 dollar leathers.
But just real softballs are the best way to go and replace them when they are "done...haha
Every bat Marcela broke she weighed under 80 lbs..granted she was a bit taller.I've never worried about a bp bat, right or wrong, because dd is so small. She will be 12 in July and her current stats are 4’8”, 67 lbs. I figure she can hit all she wants and not hurt a bat. Plus she is a righty converted to lefty, slapper. Maybe I don’t give her enough credit.
