My point is that when viewing GIFs with several missing frames that it is easy to perceive the portion that is missing.

I wasn’t talking about the bat path. I know that’s out from. I was referring to the rear leg hip area.

Since you need direction for barrel load...no it’s not incorrect. But it’s not barrel load. Direction and hand path is barrel load. ‘Knob towards the ball’ in the right context is a great cue to load the barrel IMO. I use the cue often.

Some folks refer to the action of pulling along the length of the barrel as 'bat drag'.

Regardless of the name given, it is not a positive.
