Why hasn't the OP chimed in once to ask or say anything???
The girls tee swing is a push. Braun is turning the barrel. His core supports his hand path . There is a transition or change of direction . Like a whip. Hosmers swing is the same as Brauns. Transition , change of direction , whip.
The girl is ' learning ' I guess. But what she is doing is nothing more then turning her body to get the bat to contact ala Epstein 2013. I think he has evolved since . Does anyone not see the deltoid drill in her tee swing? Bat is glued to the body for along time . Just because it's in a higher slot doesn't mean that the intent has changed. Her body sets up her swing. She has a body path . Not a hand path . Her hands are along for the ride .
Learning to ' turn the barrel ' is about using your hands properly so your body can support the hands to deliver the barrel. Why do you think these pros work on ' hands ' drills. Hosmer and Braun summed it up nicely. Their routines are a ' hands ' drill. Then a ' body ' drill that will support their hands . If you sync the girl and Braun it won't match.
Lurkers, If you want to learn how to turn the barrel correctly . Look up 'educated hands' on your search feature. This will get you going ... you will find that turning the barrel is a result not a desired action.
