DD had a great tryout last night, easily in the top 6 ... but I fear they may be some politics involved. Always the toughest thing to deal with as a parent and a kid, we'll see how it goes.
I'd be cautious of joining a team where the politics are evident even before the team is put together. Those politics tend to roll over into position and playing time once the season has started.
