which nationals are you hoping for?

Finally got DD's final travel ball schedule for the summer (16U). At the end there is a list of three possible nationals. in order of preference, we're hoping for

PGF nationals (Huntington Beach, CA) or

ASA Gold (Salem, OR) or

ASA/USA (Chattanooga, TN)

This has been an ASA/USA team the past three seasons so I'm happy to see that we're going to try something new, but qualifying will be extremely difficult, especially since our first tournament isn't until June 6. That really limits the number of qualifiers we can play. Anyway, where do you want to end up at season's end?

We are 16U and going to PONY in Virginia during July. Not a lot of ASA or PGF out here in Jersey.

Already qualified? if so, congrats. We were in Virginia last year for nationals. DD loved the area. And actually her first tourney this year (June 6) is in VA Beach.

Our 10u girl will be at PGF, the 12U is unknown at this point. If her team doesn't opt to play a big season ending event then she will try to get on an expanded roster as a relief pitcher at PGF.

We are not going *gasp*. Just TCS Nationals in Reno and Colorado Fireworks. Will be doing the ASA qualifiers in Texas though...

Yes, qualified in the fall. Went last year as 14's and had a blast, terrible pool games but turned it on and made it to within one win of playing on the last day.

Our team is trying to qualify for 12U PGF and we are doing 12U Sparkler Jr. I was really hoping for TCS in Park City. That tourney is way more fun for the whole family. But then again, it's not about me.......

Even though DD's team qualified for the TCS Western World Series in Utah, the coaches for some reason said we are not going? We are trying to qualify for PGF Nationals in July. If we don't qualify, this summer DD will probably tryout for the table tennis team or something (sarcasm button).
