I want to pose a question to the board regarding arm whip and brush interference. As i understand it, arm whip is the forearm rotating independently of the upper arm/humerous without coming into contact with the body and brush interference is when the arm comes in contact with the body/leg on its way through the release. My question is......how can true arm whip and brush intereference occur at the same time? Is my understanding of the aforementioned things not accurate or is it more of a "style" way of pitching? I know there have been several threads pertaining to brush interference but i dont remember a discussion in the comparison between true arm whip and brush interference. Please tell me if i am totally nuts for posing this question but it "hit me" when i was looking at some old pitching videos of my DD. Seems like she had more arm whip about 6-7 months ago and now it seems like she has less arm whip but more brush interference now. Just curious what everyone thinks.......
