Kinda disappointed to see Georgia (my fave) is going to Tempe with No. 5 seed Arizona State. If you look at Georgia's season overall, it's not that great. Some bad losses. But they were young and were playing very well down the stetch. They were seeded 5th in the SEC tournament and made the semifinals. They beat No. 9 LSU 7-0 before losing to No. 2 Florida 9-5. They were 3-0 vs. LSU and 3-0 vs. No. 16 Texas A&M over the last three weeks of the season, during which their only loss was vs. No. 2 Florida. Also beat Florida once in that span.

I also thought Georgia was ranked way low, considering how well they were playing at the end of the season. When I heard them say Southern Alabama and then, Nebraska, I thought, really? Stronger than Georgia?

Frankly, I wish the Dawgs had been sent to play Texas. Sorry, Texas fans, but 4th seed seems WAY high to me. IMO Georgia would have slaughtered them. ASU on the other hand, is a tough nut to crack.

Missouri getting the sixth seed? WooHoo! However, that's Mizzou with Chelsea Thomas. Once she tires out, they get beaten, and in the WCWS she will get tired out. :-(

No matter who wins, I'll enjoy watching. I love this time of year!

Eight of the nine Pac 12 teams made it to the regionals, and only three are hosting....I hope to see four go to a super regional.

I think with Zona and UCLA down from their typical level everyone east of the Rockies thinks the Pac 12 must be down overall, but I think we will surprise some folks. I wish that my Huskies had not dropped a game each to the Utes and Bears so they could have gotten an 8 or better, but that is the Pac 12. You don't get a break. I think the conference will show well in the next couple of weeks.

With Jolene Henderson back, I expect Cal to knock off Michigan. IMO they're the favorite in the Ann Arbor regional, despite what the seeding says.

Cal is definetly a wild card that could be a tough draw for anyone if Henderson doesn't get reinjured. But Cal has no #2 so if they get in the losers bracket anywhere along the way, they could be in big trouble.
