Saturday - 10yo DD's team practice, and pitching lesson for the 16yo DD.

Sunday - 10yo DD's team will be defending their team's 7-0-1 record in two morning games.

Flew 2000 miles to watch dd's first collegiate game. Get in 2 dh this weekend. Feeling very blessed and fortunate to be here!

We got rained out today but at least my wife didn't drive over an hour and then find out.

What a beautiful day in southeastern Wisconsin today. Sunny clear blue sky, no breeze, 60 degrees and the team went 2-1.

Headed off tomorrow to see my DD's team have their fall play date. Looking forward to 60 and sunny - nicer weather than all but 2 of their regular season games last spring. Oh wait, DD is studying abroad in London this semester. Oh, what the hell, I'm going anyway! The DFP 10-step program has helped some, but I'm still jonesing for a FP fix.

Oldest DD is in London this fall. NYU.

DD's team had 2 wins on Friday, running our fall record to 15-2-1. Today was a complete wash. 9:30 Sunday game.

After a day shopping with the wife, then she took me by her friends to see their new baby ( for freaking 2 hours ), now she wants to go to the movies. Love you hunny, but I need some field dirt under my nails, the sound of gloves popping, girls out of breath from running, the crack of a bat, umpire making a stupid call, getting tossed to the parking lot, ballpark nachos. Not sure how long I'm going to make it idle, I'm miserable.

Well, DD #3's fall softball season has been extended for one more day and two more games.

Her 12U rec league team won their last game, giving them a tie for first for the fall season (out of 4 teams). DD pitched 2 innings, and they were her best 2 innings of the fall.

Just got a call from a 14U rec league coach, he wants to borrow her for a DH tomorrow. Since I'll be out of town watching DS row, I will miss the games. Too bad about that.
