Take another look at the 2 step drill and work on getting the hips moving forward as the hands go back. The back foot hits the gas first just after the body begins the forward lean and the drive foot hits it just after that. Here are few gems from the DM thread:

Loosen up that lower arm and allow it to lag/hang from the elbow as it comes over the top. Pull the ball/lower arm around the circle and into whip.

Thank you for breaking this down for me. I think you found the missing piece. After looking at her drive in slow motion, it looks like her rear foot is never pushing off. It is merely striding out. I will take a closer look at the links you posted.

Her hips & body need to be going forward at "go." I see her hips loading rearward over her back foot.

This is a clip of the 2 step drill. It is not full speed. We are trying to get the form right, then we will work on the power and drive. Does this look close? It still looks like the hips are not coming forward like the clips posted above. Thanks for the help guys.

Watch how this pitcher uses the rearward weight shift onto the back foot to initiate the lean. As she is taking a step backwards and down into the ground she is also unweighting her front foot and moving/leaning forward. There is a point that if she doesn't hit the gas with the drive foot, she'll fall on her nose...

Your DD is shifting most of her weight back onto her heel, then she initiates a slow fall. Jam the back foot into the ground while falling forward (overlap?) Hopefully JS can stop by and clean up anything I've misconstrued...

Watch the action of the feet in this one:

I think this is the one of the better clips showing a very good foot sequence. Think, "Bang Bang!"

Here's one of Waldrop. Although it's not as evident, I still see both legs firing in sequence:

This is from the pitching arm side. She does appear to be straight arming the pitch. It must be from the back swing. When warming up from the K position she pitches with a bend in the elbow. I guess that and the posture is why we don't see much of a speed difference, on full windmill.
