It is okay to use your Radar Gun on another team?

and as far as the topic goes. I have gunned other pitchers, but very discreetly, just to see what a "fast' pitcher is throwing. Not for scouting or anything, mainly just to see where DD stacks up speed wise to real world situations.

If your experience was similar to mine you find out very quickly that the speeds claimed are often somewhat higher than the results observed.

I don't know what was claimed by these girls dads but my walkaway was that a random friendly in SoCal, the average 12U speed is high 40s and the flamethrowers are low 50s. Still have not gunned one of the mythical high 50s 12U girls yet, but maybe the friendlies were all #2s and #3s.
