Leverage on the ball in the hitting zone is important when you talk about driving the ball in different locations. Try to think about and feel the "swoosh" noise of the swing happening through the ball rather than at the top or start of the swing. This will help with extension through the ball toward the part of the field that the ball will be driven. Timing is also huge. Making contact further out front on the inside pitch with the proper leverage on the ball takes being on time with your load and approach to the ball. Inside pitch optimum leverage is further out front than the middle and outside pitches. The outside pitch leverage is certainly deeper, but no matter what the location, keep the max velocity of your barrel through the ball.
