My kid would swing 27-30 oz slow pitch bats when she was 10 (16 now). Still swings a 33/30 wood bat. Never in games though. She now swings a few 33/23 as much as her 33/25. Against top pitching the added barrel control is neccesary, and honestly I think the -10s are sending the ball with as much exit speed as the heavier bats.
I don't know the field she played on was super short fenced I'm just referencing point of impact and drop point next tournament at that field I will try to get a measurement. I will load another picture see if someone can eye ball it.
A 10U player swinging a 34/25 against coach pitch or very weak pitching, is not the same as swinging a 34/25 against a pitcher throwing 60+....so do not be surprised if your DD suddenly needs to drop down a size or two.
I never once said she hit this HR with a 34/25 she did it with her Xeno 32/21 she has a hurt arm so I'm not letting her swing it anytime soon. But this hit did humble my rear with her needing a bigger bat thanks DFP!
Fence is 175 according to the sign in the outfield and an 11" ball is much lighter and travels further than a heavier 12" ball. Still a great HR and your DD has a bright future ahead of her!
