Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but since you are a player asking, you deserve a good response. This is what I want my players to do as a high school coach...
If you are an upperclassmen, make it your purpose to make the outfield a single unit. All outfielders make agressive plays. If...
I coach HS and TB. There is good information here but it's not the only place to get good information. I don't contribute much because I don't want to get involved in the bickering on the hitting forum and I certainly don't consider myself an expert

Lenski, they are not really wide, they just are a bit deeper. I guess that is the best way for me to describe them, front to back. They could fit my DD's baby giraffe legs better but they didnt seem as wide as some of the other brands. The Slim Jim in drain pipe is a fair comparison.
DD is 14, 5'7" (at the time of the pictures) and very thin. She has the 15.5" System 7, the Vela were too short. System 7 works great for her.
She has the white chest protector and Schutt(Vegas) helmet to help with heat
Sorry I cant figure out how to rotate the picture on here
If the runner going home goes out of her way to take out the player at home, could it also be interpreted as runner interference?

Rona Dorsey or Amy Angelo workhousefastpitch.com Neither one will refer to it as IR, they call it pitching [emoji1]
If you are interested in Rona, I can get you in contact with her.

Same idea but if she reaches a base you can also enter your flex to run (reducing your line up to 9). You have 1 re-entry left for both players, plus you still have your sub available. She will still only be able to bat twice if she reaches a base and you use the flex or sub as a runner. I use...
"Coaches on my daughter’s team said building confidence was the job of the parents and players and not that of the coach."
As a coach and also working in a classroom of kids with behavioral disorders, this is not exactly what I would tell my players but close (depending on the age). I don't...
FWIW, Just briefly scanning the thread, I would suggest having her getting her toe down , then heal to start her forward rotation movement with her hips. A little more resistance from her lead leg may help a lot with the sequence.

We mix matched a new set. My dd is tall an thin so a set won't fit well. All Star legs and chest (different sizes) and Schutt helmet. The helmet just came in today and is the best I have seen.
What age group? You may be able to get away with it at younger ages.
I have seen a lot of younger teams not cover 3rd well and the runner immediately advances 2 bases, because the LF, C or 3B doesn't cover. I would also recommend your runners to look to see if anyone covers 3rd in the same...
Michael, you and your children are type 1 diabetic?
I was very sick at age 30 and became type 1 diabetic. Although I was relieved to find out I had something manageable, I have struggled to stay as active as I would like. After dealing with it myself I feel for the young ones that have it. Some...
Is there a schedule difference between the two teams? Is a weaker schedule going to help her grow? Could she face batters by playing in a rec league also? What would she be sacrificing, by turning down the opportunity to play with a better team?
FWIW, I have coached 10u for a few years...I agree with 2B or RF if she is a good feilder and you believe that she would be a great OFer I see a lot more hits to the right side of the field at this age. 2B will get more feilding experience and RF will get more OF experience including secondary...
