I had a kid start fresh last season in spring rec 10u. couldnt hit a beach ball with a tennis racket. throws righty, bats lefty... couldnt catch, major ADD... it was almost like you wanted her to sprain her ankle so you didnt have to watch... your daughter.... If she is having fun, and improving... she should PLAY... my bad girl, this spring, jacked a legit homerun, no fence, deep to right. not a single and 3 errors. she was the happiest dorkiest kid in the world. If her parents had walked away...she never gets that. Make sure the coach knows, from her mouth, that she is working hard, and wants to get better. if she is trying hard, her team mates will respect it even if she messes up, kids notice.... nudging her towards bailing because she is being challenged doesnt strike me as a good lesson.
