I also agree the word “stud” should never be used in softball.
I don’t care what kind of earrings they are coach, she can’t wear them on my field.

Definitely agree the use of the word "stud" to describe a female athlete is bizarre.
My pet peeve (and I may be the only one) is using the word "dish" over and over to reference home plate.
In other news, I see more and more colleges are choosing to replace traditional descriptors like "freshman" and "sophomore" with "1st year" or "2nd year," citing the former's "male-centric academic history."
