We still have DD's first t-ball bat. It has been passed down to my middle son and now to my youngest..Luckily my kids are not really too influenced by what everybody else on their team uses..

I don’t think it’s always just the girls…..

I made a point when my DD was in 8u and 10u rec of buying the cheapest aluminum bat I could find to make her earn her hits.

DD played her first two years of 10u rec with an aluminum bat. I think even the sweet spot hits hurt her hands.

I remember when drops started. When I was first coaching out lightest bat was a 32 in 32 oz. Eventually we excited when we bought some drop 7s.
