Appreciate all the replies. Gives me something to think about. Interesting that most of the replies about when you know she was using correct technique was about performance not about how she corrected this or that. I think I get into the weeds too much and from a lot of these responses it seems that you generally coach them as best as you can, practice a lot, then practice more. After all that you probably know one way or the other.

Since 10U I've known she had it and that it's all over too many times to count.

I kind of knew something was up when dd would pitch and people would stop and watch when she was 11. Luckily still going strong at 14 and still getting looks.
When DD was 8 or 9. She was in a group lesson with kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. When it came time for the radar gun, after DD threw, one of the older kids got wide eyed and mouth "OMG".
