Wow, I'm impressed. I can barely catch for my 10 year old WITH gear. Your daughter would probably kill me with her first fastball.
One more story...@ 3 years ago my optometrist set up my contacts with one eye for distance and one for reading. What a great concept...no need for reading glasses! I did not realize that I would loose a lot of depth perception. The next pitching session with my DD was almost my last...now I wear glasses whenever we pitch.
As I have gotten older I have trouble catching at night, therefore we try to schedule our pitching lessons/bucket time indoors or during the day. My DD is a senior, so she gets out of school @ 1pm, which gives us more options than the normal release at 4pm.
