There was a 10 year old "phenom" in our area that everyone was sure was going to be the next Jenny Finch....she was head and shoulders above everyone at 10U, pretty good at 12U, and washed out of softball in 14U.....when a player is put on a pedestal at an early age it can have devastating consequences later on in her career.
