Got a girl that we can not get to stay back/balanced when hitting. Weight goes 90% on front foot. Looking for some good tee or soft toss drills. Thanks.

Could give a cue, stepping out on thin ice, or
Keep the front knee flexed

Is she stepping out stiff legged?

Look at her throwing mechanics. Could be fixed there.

Not saying I'd teach this. I am saying you may not know what you don't know.

Wow, love that Clemente clip. Frank Thomas and Stan Musial are others who can be found occasionally getting the backside a foot or more off the ground at contact. My DD's swing off front toss is often like that. I doubt that in any case this represents the players' typical or ideal game swings, but certainly demonstrates a point.

If you don't unweight the back foot to some degree, your rotation will be sub par. You may just see a slight rock back onto the back foot after or late in the swing but you will see some in a good swing after the back hip finishes rotating forward unless you go all Clemente on us. Here's the poster child for the other end of the spectrum from Clemente. Bonds showing only a slight rock back showing the subtle unweighting of the back foot/side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUTW4FsMeNQ
