I’m a 52 yr old umpire in relatively good health here in NY. I’ll work games, but first thing I’ll say to coaches at our 6 foot plate meeting is, if There is any excessive arguing about any call I make from you, I’m not throwing you out, I’m leaving. They need me more than I need them. No need to risk my safety to be verbally harassed. I think there will be enough umps but plenty of single umpire games. Although it probably won’t come to that since I don’t think any games will be played until at least the fall if we are lucky
