Way past gone
We respond to ALL emails and phone calls. I give all players at a tryout a date that we will let them know one way or another if they made it. We honor that date. I am not sure why people think it is so hard. In the past we had very few people come out and we did this. This year we had almost 50 players come out for 5 spots and I followed up with each and every one. Even if we do not pick your player today, we want you to know we are not heartless people. Hate when people do not respond. 
FYI, I have had players inquire then drop off the face of the earth. It works both ways. Rude people will eventually see the fruits of their labor.
