Practicing the wrong things doesn't help. Practicing lazily does not help. Standing the girls in a field and hitting the ball to them one at a time does not help (much).
Correcting the wrong things during practice/games helps.
Practicing the corrected wrongs the next practice helps.
The more instruction you have tells you when you are doing things wrong so that you can correct the wrongs and the practice those corrected wrongs.
The more information you have tells you that the instruction you have been providing may have been inadequate or wrong. Correcting the instruction to correct the wrongs makes practice so much better.
