Tricks to stop Swim-glove

Practice pitching into your glove. I have some of my younger girls throw two full pitches into their glove and then the third pitch to a catcher or net.

Has she tried opening the glove to the batter? Alligator arm instead of swimming. Takes some practice but can be effective and puts her in a better fielding position.

My daughter had the same problem and from time to time it will come back but if she keeps a little bend in her glove hand elbow and glove hand wrist she does not swim nearly as bad. She will also do a lot of pitching drills just watching the A2000 logo up the middle finger of her glove making sure the glove stays in front of her. When she works on this we are throwing into a trap not really worrying about where the ball goes. Just something we do to work on that problem.
