The way it releases, it looks like a good way to program a hand push and/or an out-front swing.

My DD used the towel drill to keep from casting her hands.

I believe Yeager has a similar product.

The intent with such gadgets is to improve the 'hand path' ... and for that the focus is with the top hand path.

This is something I work on with the majority of my hitters ... but without such a gadget.
