Get dirty and dig it! This clinic is not for those who prefer picking daisies in the outfield! The Mother of All Catching Clinics will bring you to a new level behind the plate.
Understand how important the catcher is as the keeper of home plate, the dynamic of the mental aspects of the catcher's position, how to pick out the weaknesses of a batter, and how to manage an emotional pitcher! Become the Field Commander by controlling the pace of the game. We'll work on right & left jab steps, and a straight block, the most essential parts of blocking wild pitches. Pass ball management and flip tosses, plus those flashy snap throws to pick off aggressive runners. Cutting off sliding runners at the plate requires special skills which will be covered to stop that runner from getting in under the tag.
All aspects of catching will be covered at this clinic!
Players of age 10 and older only. This is a 3-hour clinic. Gear is required!
