The University of Missouri Softball Team, with Featured Pitching Instructor, Doug Gillis will host a series of pitching clinics in the Dan Devine Pavilion.
Pitching Clinic Series Dates:
Sunday, October 21st 2012- Pitching Mechanics
Sunday, November 11th 2012- pitching drills part 1
Sunday, December 9th 2012 (part of winter hitting) - pitching drills part 2
Monday, January 21st 2013 - velocity development
Sunday, February 10th 2013- rise ball/drop ball (accenting vertical movement)
Sunday, March 3rd 2013- change up and how to pitch hitters
Sunday, April 7th 2013- putting it all together
Tuesday, May 14th 2013- small group
Wednesday, May 15th 2013 - small group
Cost: $75 per session
NEW THIS YEAR: Introducing the iLesson concept:
All camps now include the iLesson concept! So with each camp having an already establish title, now campers will be evaluated & assigned drills / exercises that more meet there appropriate skill level. This will done by access to many of video stations that all have the iLessons library on it, thus access to over 500 unique coaching points.
All pitchers are asked to provide their own catcher, please bring your own catching equipment. Younger pitchers using a youth ball should also bring one to their session.
