2009: Drafted 18th of 29 females to the Akron, OH Racers in the National Pro Fastpitch League
2010: Led the Akron OH Racers in Home Runs
2011-2012: Worked with Crystl Bustos and Howard Carrier at Got Bustos? Inc.
Current: CEO of D&M Sports Training and travel to 4 surrounding states (OH, PA, WV, IL) to host clinics and teach private lessons

Micaela will completely break down the swing, explain the science behind what she teaches, and provide visual examples for easier learning purposes, and introduce a hitting concept. The last hour will consist of working with Darcy Thompson, a strength and conditioning coach who will introduce movements and objectives to the athletes that will provide them with a better understanding of how to become a more powerful hitter with faster hands and leg drive.
February 14th 9:30AM to 12:30PM
The clinic will be covering the basics of what a tryout will consist of:
-Hitting off a machine and tips to be successful
-Throwing in a target with correct technique - tips on how to increase MPH
-Fielding - infield/outfield - proper infield fielding position - proper drop step to the ball in the outfield
-Running - we will have a sports trainer working with athletes on how to run and increase the home to first base time - first step is key
Lastly, CONFIDENCE TALK AT THE END!!!!!!!!!
COST: $75 per player, $130 for both Clinics
