Need some help...hoping maybe someone else on this forum has experieneced this....DD has very, very low arches and pronates inward. She also plays catcher 97% of the time, putting a lot of stress on the left ankle, which is now swelling (not extreme, but still swelling) and giving her issues. Any suggestions on insoles, cleats or turf shoes, exercises that have made a difference for anyone else's DD dealing with the same issue?

We've been to the orthopedic Dr., gotten Xrays and been given a lace up brace, a resistance band for exercises to do and instructions to ice after activity, Dr. also suggested insoles.

Thanks in advance!

I would consider going to a podiatrist to see if they can make custom fit insoles that will correct her feet.

Yes, podiatrist is the way to go. My DD has inserts for her shoes from the podiatrist that helped her flat feet problems. Find one who specializes in sports if possible so that he/she understands your DD's needs.
