My 9 yr old dd is in her 1st yr of pitching. She had 3 games she pitched last weekend. (Her 1st weekend) She is smaller (4 ft) and has a smaller foot. She was struggling using the existing hole created by the other pitchers. If she used the existing hole her heal would barely touch the rubber. So she pitched from the top of the rubber (getting basically no push off) I told her to fill in the hole with existing dirt around the rubber. But since the material was soft 1-2 pitches later ithe hole was back where it started. Any tips or tricks from the experienced players or parents would be appreciated.
