OK, time to post a pic of a happy softball moment.
Here is one of my DD at sunset last year (not a perfect photo, but oh well). It was a very long midsummer day, and we were tired and ready to go home. I think this game was running at least an hour late. We saw the sunset, and made a point to tell our players to notice it, but since we were actually playing, we did not really have time to take it all in. Plus, our dugout had the green blackout netting on it to keep the parents from continually talking to the kids (which I loved, BTW), so we only got to see it while on the field. We lost the game, and by the time it was over, it was after 9 PM, and we were toast. One of the parents approached me, and said "Hey, not sure if you were able to see this, so I snapped this photo for you." It made my day! I think this AB produced one of our only 4 hits that game.
I hope this helps someone's day feel a little better.
Please share something that you think will help bake our days a little brighter!
