Softball happy thoughts

Definitely been reminiscing this past week over the last several years.

A home run in our conference tournament championship last year, her next AB she hit the ball harder, a line drive straight the top of the fence, missed a second HR by inches! The pitcher she was facing is her best friend, when Anna hit that second ball she bent down and put her hands on her knees, when the ball hit the fence she looked straight at me and said "thank the Lord!!" Lol.

Thanks. It's my favorite picture of my DD. The team she was on two summers ago had an excellent mom photographer. Keep the mom in your thoughts, she's an internist at a local hospital.

Last one from me, my favorite. Here I am coaching my DD (#7) in the Little League Division Championship game 2016 (we won).....The bucket is always the best seat in the house!

We didn't get much softball in last spring either, but I did get this cool pic.
Despite the auspicious looking rainbow, the fields were in no condition to play.

When I started this thread, this was the photo I was actually thinking about and looking for. (It was on a different computer.)

It was taken between games at a tourney about 5 years ago while the girls were supposed to be resting. Most of them were goofing off, but was a cool day, and we had plenty of time and food for them to recover. I have NO idea how we did that weekend, but knowing which year it was, it was probably not well.

All I know about that tournament today is that I can literally feel her joy and hear her laughter every time I see this picture.
