I find simple words are used in a game type setting a lot.. and in that setting I don't think it's a good tactic.

1. Gives the other team way too much info
2. Results in death stare from DD and DW

DD's coach yells "TikTok!" at DD when she pulls her head off the ball. (In practice he told her to pretend she's making a video starring the ball and her eyes are the camera; this is how he reminds her.)

It works so well sometimes that it looks like a post-hypnotic suggestion.

When DD was younger if she seemed to tense up I would yell out "ninja move". She would step out of box and out of everyone's way and her bat would fly around for a 5 seconds or so. Seemed to relax her.
