Old Henny Youngman joke: Patient say, "Doctor, it hurts when I do this." Doctor replies, "Then don't do that!"

Absolutely agree with Riseball.

If she has elbow pain throwing any pitch there is a mechanical issue that needs to be addressed. Quit throwing the pitch until she learns to throw it correctly.

throwing a screwball using the typical twist of the hand+elbow in a 'screw' fashion can cause this. your elbow can only twist so far
striding a tad left (RHP) and throwing a good drop inside while not exactly a 'screw' ball, works.

Unless Orthodoc chimed in, I'd take any advice you get on a forum with a grain of salt (in her case, prolly some Epsom Salt! ;) )

Where and when does she feel discomfort? Is it only when throwing this pitch? What is her cue/feel to get this spin? From the spectator's perspective, does this pitch "look" different from her others? Can you share video of the screwball and another pitch that doesn't hurt?

I just so happen to have recent video...LOL..this day she was working on her curve and drop ball. I don't have any recent video of screwball because of her elbow pain. We want to figure what is going wrong with it before throwing it again.

This is the way she was throwing it in December. DH wanted her to get more spin, so he had work on follow through with what I would say, "opening the door" cue.
