hips stopped rotating just before contactThe only part I am still confused on is the her hips being done too soon?
Check out the hand action of Katie Cochran, Barry Bonds and Jennie Finch. They drop down and then go back up to arm pit height where the swing is launched. The slight drop of the hands occurs when the hips cock and IMO is part of a good sequence. If the hand cock is removed, you run the risk of messing up the hitter's rhythm.
Ted Williams said that the hands do not have to be any higher than the highest strike that will be called. Which is typically at the letters. Why does he want her to get her hands up higher? Probably so she can swing down to the ball.
Also, IMO the reason her hips finished early is because she was early on her swing. It happens...even to the best.

If someone has it post Finch's Video pitching against MLB players it is a hoot ! She made them look like fools. A bigger issue is in softball , kids trying to hit a riseball with the hands below the plane of the pitch. They have no hope of hitting the ball. I think in softball you see the hands slightly higher, like Watley, Lee, and Bustos have in the videos that have been posted.
