I'm the kind of person who prepares for anything that might happen in life. I'm preparing for anything that could go wrong and have a plan B in case something happens to the original plan. I teach my children this as a great life lesson. So, I need some advice about recruiting after committing. My daughter just committed to a school right before the new rules went into effect. She will be a junior next year.
We all hear about the girls who have committed and before they make it on campus, a coach has dropped them, a coach has taken away a lot of the offer, been fired, etc...and the recruiting process had to start all over again. So, as a plan B, I still want my daughter to go to a camp this summer to a school that was very interested in her. I want to look after my daughter and prepare for things that could happen that are out of our control, but this seems like a very slippery slope.
Is this a no-no or is it something that should be done? What are your thoughts???
.
I've got a question about attending a college camp that my daughter is not committed to.
