I have used a clip on wide angle lens from Amazon to adjust the field of vision as well as get closer to the field.

I had too much time on my hands during the pandemic. I thought someone might benefit from seeing my setup. Hero 8, bucket buddy, jobi ball head 3k, nanuk 910 case with pick and pluck foam, 256gb samsung card, ultra violet filter mounted on puluz case for hero 8,lynk spyder, g8-7 removable battery cover for gopro, dual USB 12,000 mah battery pack, pocket radar ball coach, pocket radar universal tripod mount. Very happy with the setup.

This company sells the clip on lenses, as well as cases that the lens will attach to. I don't record using phone, so I have not tried them, but they look like a high quality product.
