Questioning a bat in 10u

We are an inter town 10u travel team. Played an area wide top notch travel organization yesterday. I’ll spare you the details but you can reasonably figure out how these games usually end up. When we finally got a nice hit (double) from our top hitter the other coach sent the umpire over because she was questioning the bat which by the way was perfectly legal. You can imagine what we were muttering to ourselves. Is this just a move to show dominance? Upsetting to say the least considering anyone would ever question our integrity.

I would guess there are some hard feelings between the teams, they
did not help thier case so consider it a win. Let them come after your Team!

I take it that it was just a scrimmage? If I was the travel coach and genuinely though the bat might be illegal, I would tried to find out if the batter also played travel and saved that info for when it really mattered.
