Donut weights are illegal to even have on-deck in certain sanctioning bodies. i suppose the issue would be one left on ground for a catcher to twist their ankle on, etc, but Im speculating.
I dont think swinging weights do anything good. Yes the bat may feel lighter afterwards, but you have just also trained your muscles to swing slowly
