Another good reason for the catcher to call her own game, I would imagine.

I agree, everyone belongs in the dugout.

Little League doesn't allow anyone outside of the dugout, either.

Wow, the answers are all over on this! Well, next time it happens, I'll probably challenge it with the umpire, knowing that he can rule on this any way he wants.

Just remember, by rule it's not allowed.
So if you have an ump who (1) knows the rules and (2).....(even more importantly) has the guts to enforce the rule....you'll be sitting in the dug out.
