Power hitter now poppoing up

Get someone to video her swing and see if her hands are dropping or if the head is moving forward during contact.

How can I correct a power hitters swing that now has her popping up almost every at bat? She does not loop her swing, so that does not appear to be the cause. As a RH batter, she used to pull everything down the left field foul line, now she is just popping the ball up to the left side of the field.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like she is swinging with mostly upper body and not getting the hips rotating. Also check to see if front foot is pulling out when she swings.
These are just a couple of things to look for.

My daughter and another girl were popping up down third base line and sometimes slow dribbles. Found out they were bailing out with front foot.

Watch the back elbow.

Take some video. Without video it will be hard to tell the cause as others have stated. My money is on her dropping the back elbow too close to the body and creating bat drag instead of bat Lag. The back elbow needs to be away from the body as she rotates.
