Great post! Good for you knowing yourself and acknowledging your daughters abilities!Parent/fan.
Never coached, never wanted to.
I do attend her hitting lessons with her. Occasionally between games she will ask me what went wrong/right with her swing to see if I see what she is feeling but I don't usually offer correction/instruction.
She is much more knowledgeable about her game than I am. I just love to watch her play!

Wonder? Do you ever NOT MISS the frustration factor other
coach/parents can experience trying to get their coaching through to their kids?!
Parents paying attention to what their role is with their kid are strong reasons people bring their athlete children for instructional lessons.
Examples from parents range from~
She wont listen to me/parent & and she thinks she knows more than me/parent~
To...Rather have someone who knows softball explain it to her.~
To... We want a teacher that i/parent can learn from and guide her.
