I checked on 29dad (aka Olaf) a week ago - "Went to Mexico for a brief vacation and then I had to go to Georgia for training (still here). So I haven't been on the internet much these past couple of weeks. I'm WAY out of touch."

I'm watching today's game. Minnie rallied from 0-3 to take a 4-3 lead after 2 innings and just switched pitchers top of 3rd - 2 on, no outs.

4th - Minnie squandered 1 out, bases loaded with Mackey (K) and Richardson (L7)

6th - Mich hits 2-run HR after error by SS. Betsa pitching - 3 up, 3 down.

Macken walks, Richardson longgg fly out, Groenewegen struck out swinging, Eckstrom up...

Coach Allister signals and mouths to Macken "2 outs, be smart" and then Macken narrowly advances to 2B on blocked pitch in dirt - Coach can't believe it (smile) and repeats "be smart" twice. Scorer credits SB?

Eckstrom struck out swinging. Michigan wins 9-4 and squares series 1-1.

That is the "real 29dad" - don't confuse him with Olaf, the rabid Big X fan that lives in fantasy land.

Question - Was it 29dad and/or Olaf that swore off Minnie earlier this season and pledged their allegiance to Mich? Enquiring minds want to know...

Mich returns the favor by run-ruling Minnie 9-1 (6). Great game for 5 innings that got away from Minnie in the 6th when Mich scored 6 runs with 2 outs.

Hats off to Betsa for pitching so well today and yesterday after struggling on Friday.
