Light schedule for a high caliber travel ball pitcher. Good days off for rest if needed.Who may be throwing easily three games in 2 days at showcases/tournaments.

Interesting they have a choice.
How do they come to a conclusion of the choice? rock paper scissors?
If the coaches don't come to an agreement, I believe it's a coin flip.

😏Ahhh the power of a coin flip!

Potentially heavily influencing playoffs, imagine that...
You might have a 4th place team in a horrible district vs a 1st team. That would be reason for a one game series. Or a 4th place team in a great district vs a 1st place team from a horrible district. One coach might want a one game the other coach may want a 3 game series. Coin flip. Might also depend on health of their one pitcher.

Seems like some schools will always have a pipeline of pitchers in their programs. An embarrassment of riches if you will. Lake Creek, Barbers Hill, Pearland, etc. 2-3 D1 level pitchers every year.

Understand. High School rarely has a good balance of competition.

Can see the impact of a team that the probability they will lose utilizing the strategy of wearing out the winning team's pitchers so that they will be tired possibly lose in the next round 🤷‍♀️

Ava Brown pitched well for Florida opening weekend and was also a regular in the batting lineup. She hit a homerun against USF.

Only one visit to the portal for the each player.
A true cap on roster size.(25)
If NIL money continues to rise (and hopefully it does) scholarship percentages become less important. NIL money could become more valuable than scholarship money.

I'd like to see some limits on the timing of the portal, and maybe even some caps on $$ to level the playing field a little, but I cannot get behind any restrictions on how many times the player can enter.........this is a big $$ industry, barely holding on to academic integrity, i can't get behind anything that limits the athletes say on where they fit into this industry

About transferring
( Particularly reflecting on players who are transferring due to playing time reasons. Of which there is no guarantee they would for sure get better playing time elsewhere, because the grass isn't always greener over there...)

Think it would be a reasonable guess
if there was a rule in place that impacted some of their playing time eligibility that may reduce the amount of players that are transferring. 🤷‍♀️

If players had to sit out an amount of time they may transfer less.
That would be a natural attrition at reducing the amount of transfers.
